But she insists birdwatching is not an expensive hobby. She figured she spends about $15 a month on seed. (She lives in a subdivision without mature trees, so pilfering squirrels aren’t an issue.)
And if you like to watch the birds, put in your feeder and then sit down in your favorite spot to make sure you can see it. She says too often people place their feeders where they can't see and enjoy the birds.
And you can increase the number and variety of birds by putting out additional feeders with different kinds of food.
